Your role

As the Head of Sales & Customer Success, you will play a leading role in shaping our future success. Take charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to drive sustainable growth, ensuring that targets are met or exceeded;
  • Conduct thorough market research to gain insights into our competitors’ positioning and value proposition, allowing us to refine our strategies and differentiate ourselves;
  • Embody persuasive sales arguments that highlight our unique value proposition;
  • Collaborate closely with the consulting team to leverage their expertise, ensuring that our business development efforts are aligned with the solutions we offer and deliver maximum value to our clients;
  • Manage both our existing sales pipeline and the development of new business opportunities;
  • Lead engaging sales presentations and meetings;
  • Draft compelling and tailored proposals using PowerPoint, demonstrating a deep understanding of both the client requirements as well as our expertise, and confidently negotiating contracts;
  • Build and nurture strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients, industry leaders, and key stakeholders, to establish Aster Fab as a preferred partner;
  • Attend key industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to stay ahead of market trends, identify new business opportunities and enhance brand recognition;
  • Drive continuous improvement within our operations, refine our offers, and elevate marketing and sales materials;
  • Mentor junior business development team members, providing guidance, training and support.


Are you the ideal candidate?

  • Experience level
    • 10+ years of professional experience in business development, corporate innovation or M&A, ideally with exposure to hard-to-abate sectors / climate tech startups / strategic consulting / venture capital
    • A Master’s degree from a top business and/or political sciences school
  • Required skills
    • You have strong business acumen and strategic thinking
    • You have a proven track record in sales and business development
    • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • You have an entrepreneurial mindset
    • You have leadership and team management skills
    • You are knowledgeable about climate change and sustainability matters
    • You have a network to leverage and are ambitious to continue on forging links with the highest-level corporates
  • Tools:
    • Advanced/intermediate skills in MS Office package
    • CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, Salesforce…)
  • Languages: fluent in English and French
